The Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, Wisconsin, is an interactive experience for visitors to learn about the agricultural industry in the United States. The center features immersive, multi-sensory activities and exhibits that will give visitors of all ages a new perspective on food and production agriculture.

 

Breeze created a customized Dynamic Floor and two customized Animated Sandboxes for the center:

 

• The circular interactive floor projection prompts users to stomp on the blight before it infects the crops. Remove enough blight before time is up and you’ll see a healthy farm.

 

• “Save the Soil” sandbox educates users on how to create the optimal soil conditions for farming. Create a windbreak to avoid wind erosion, plant seeds and water them to watch your crops grow. Be careful not to overwater to avoid erosion.

• Our topographic sandbox is the perfect educational tool to demonstrate different elevations and how they affect rainfall. Manipulate the sand to create hills, mountains, and lakes. Hold your hand up to trigger rain clouds and learn about water runoff.
